As a moderator, I do not have access to any PMs either, nor would I want access.
I've met Eman (and gone trick or treating with Her Ladyship), shared a couple of bottles of beer and talked soccer. They are both wonderful, kind and interesting people, and I am proud to call them friends.

Mike, when they were doing it to me, they didn't accuse me of being someone else, I was just attacked for being myself.
At least they think you, as yourself, are okay.

People are imperfect, *stuff* happens. At least we are not all *pretending* to each other's faces like they are at the KH. We're all healing, and bound to screw up from time to time while learning how to be the best we can be.
Don't leave , it can't be nice all the time. But I sincerely feel that most everyone tries their best.
I for one value the experience and wisdom of the *older* members of this board, so, once again, please DON"T LEAVE because of these reasons.

I don't perceive what you're talking about with this site. It seems like the other boards (one in particular) is where things are nasty to the point where it's become a parody of itself, a joke really, and people who hang out on those boards seem to catch the disease.

I'm sorry you feel that way about JWD. Imo, it has greatly improved and people now work their problems out (and there WILL always be problems, no matter what species we are!) more civilly than ever before.
A long time ago, I thought of leaving when there were vicious attacks by posters who used obscenities and foul language. Then, not too long after that, most of them went over to a newly established board.
I think this board is very civil and has made vast improvements. I never think of leaving anymore. Simon has had a lot of slander, etc. dumped on him for his strong stands at keeping this board a nice place to visit.
Even on this thread, there isn't any name-calling or meanness, just a statement of facts to straighten things out.
Just my 2 cents.

I'm glad this thread was posted, because I have noticed a bit of nitpicking and pissing contests going on between people..............whatever it is, it isn't just affecting this group. There was a thread from another group I'm on, not JW related at all, that asked Is it in the Air? So, whatever is making people edgy, is out there for everyone and we just need to ride it out! I agree with Tal and someone else who said that even families get edgy from time to time. I personally love JWD, it is a great place and for a group of people who have been so damaged emotionally and physically by the Borg, I think we all do a great job at being caring and kind.

Board wars = bored wars. Though it is a tad better than watching back to back episodes of "Coronation Street"
Kudos to Robdar, and of course to E-man, though I would not have expected any less from his lordship.
