It's another boy

Our eldest son (40) and his wife (37) are expecting their third baby in September (a "surprise" pregnancy. They got the results of their amnio yesterday and it is another boy. They have two boys, 10 and almost 4. The ultrasound had given them hope it was a girl, but had an amnio to be sure.

They were disappointed, but my DIL had a feeling it was a boy all along, so wasn't too excited about a girl yet. It's healthy and no chromosome problems, so they are happy about that information.

This will be our 8th grandchild and 5th grandson. More to come I think. Our youngest son and his wife haven't started a family yet.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...babies. Aren't they great! Congratulations to you and your family Grandma Mulan! I had two boys and always wanted a little girl...but alas...it was not to be. But my son and his wife have a little girl (2 yrs. old)...so now I get to indulge in all that girlie stuff. Boys are A GOOD THING (disclaimer: I am NOT a martha stewart fan but I like the good thing bit).

That would be neat!! I have 3 sons, all with red hair. My dark haired daughter is the only one with red haired children. (but her hubby has red hair, so they couldn't miss)
