When I was in the borg, the understanding was that apostates and former annointed, who had fallen away, and turned against the borg were the 'evil slave class'

I understand there are about 27,000 abuse victims, and about 6,000 lawsuits standing against the borg. So first YOU get molested, and now YOU are 'evil' ?

    HAH........

My understanding was that this so-called "evil slave class" was defined by the WTS as people who were BOTH anointed and apostate.

So if you were of the great crowd and turned away, you're simply an "apostate" to them.

That's what I understood, Gopher. In order to be "evil slave" you had to have been in the slave class to start with which would mean you professed to be of anointed with holy spirit. This week's WT article has some reference to the "evil slave."

So then they have committed the "unforgiveable sin"?

Didn't 75% fall away after the 1925 fiasco...that's a whole lot of slaves condemned as evil for losing faith in something which never took place.

You're right. That IS the understanding. But the point I was trying to make remains the same. If find it appalling that there are so many cases. And that number is still growing.

I had a few beers when I posted that.... Just venting a little today

Yes indeed. Any victim who complains about the WTS policy is suddenly a troublemaker. (Shut up and go to the Kingdom Hall, that's what they want. Don't think, just do what we say...)

6000 law suits? Really. How did you find that out?

Blondie made a good post with links to news articles http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/70170/1.ashx

I decided to send an email to all the elders, Co's and Do's that I have in my address book with the links to all the pages about this matter. Entitled: "What am I supposed to come back to?"

I am anxiously awaiting a response from some them.
