I am so grateful that I am a person who loves life and all it facets. I couldn't think of not being alive. I love people and creatures of all sorts and love creation to the maximum. I don't know why I am such a happy go lucky person as no one in my family is. The only person in my life that was the positive influence was my beloved grandmother. She had that same vigor for life as I have and so I feel that I got it from her.

The scooter is called CTM HS 580, by unicare as it is a serviceable to me in the Toronto area. Actually if anything ever happe ns to it the Health Care Company I got it from is based in our town and they said if it needed work they would pick it up and deliver it to Toronto and give me a loaner if it would take more than a day to fix. It is the four wheel model I have, and believe me I find the four wheel scooter far more safer that the three wheel model. It costs 3400.00 $. and I am happy to say that the adult divise program paid 70 % and the other was picked up by my Ontario Disability Pension.

What a blessing it is and I thank all of you for your support and positive input. Yes Lee you will indeed find it just that a miracle. Blondie I am gathering from inbetween your words that you to are suffering from an aliment that leaves you with a mobility problem. Hopefully you can find one that suits your needs with out to much cost to you. Are you on a pension? If so you could probably qualify with a doctors letter to get obtain an electric chair. I was told by my Ocupational Therapist that it is very very difficult to obtain a scooter as the criteria is very strict.

I was worried that I was going to have to fight for it, but I didn't as I apparently met the criteria and having two powerful letters and reports from specialist is the key to getting it.

So thanks all again for your kind thoughts.

I'm so glad you can enjoy the outside. I spend a lot of time outside in my yard and it would really be bad if I couldn't be out there. Enjoy it as much as possible, I'm happy for you. I hope it gets even better for you.

So good things are a happening in my life.

Orange, I cannot think of anyone nicer and more deserving of a fire engine red scooter than you. I love your little girl enthusiasm and appreciation for your freedom and for spring. You really made my day with this post. I would love to see you strolling through the park on that thang.

I am also happy for you that you are getting a new apartment. I hope it will be bigger and will give you more room for all those wonderful collections you told us about.

thanks so much flyin, i really appreciated your lovely comments. I am so happy to have that freedom.

And yes soon we shall be moving to a larger apartment in our town and i was told today that the apt. we are getting is great everything is brand new. we even get our own washer and dryer. and centeral aircondition. Hoping the day will come soon maybe by June or July. We can hardly wait and Marco and I will be getting a little help from the Alternative Living. They are wonderful people and it will be good for us both.

Yes L Lee it comes with the basket and flag too. Now I can show I am a patriotic Canadian. Ha ha

Well I am eager to go go go. However for the last several days we have had rain and I can'tt take my fire engine out to play.

Also Shotgun I hate to shatter your dreams but I have no rumble seat in Hammy- Fu. But I will think of you while I am driving around like a manic.

Woo hoo! W/D and C/A. You go girl! I am sooooo happy for you. I don't have either of those things. I do have one wall unit A/C for my whole apt that ices over when there is too much humidity. My apartment is nice. They just don't do much C/A in this part of Michigan in apartments.

I am happy that Canada is taking good care of our Orange. You deserve all the good things you can get. Give us some updates on your jaunts, please, please. And send some of that rain our way. We need it.

OFC, yes, I am suffering today in fact at home. At home it is not too bad, but when my hubbie and I go out, I am limited as to how far I can walk. It limits him too. It's nice to know what is on the market for my future. I wish I could take a ride on yours.

Blondie - if you can afford it there is a compact model called the GO-GO by Pride Mobility - costs about $1500

LL, that is good to know.

OFC, it is just nice to be mobile again, I'm sure. It's like getting wings.

seeing how much I love my scooter I feel like I am flying. One of the guys from the dart leauge we're in is going to put fire flames on my scooter and I have also got decals to put on it. everyone shares my enthusiasium.
