I agree totally. That's why our opinions don't amount to a 'hill of beans'. Our thoughts and beliefs are based on our environment and circumstances - they are not universally applied. It's usually based on someone elses narrow view of things.

In another vein - we are products of our geographic environment. That accounts for our physical features - environment plays a major role.

Definitely products of our environment, onacruise, but we overcome some of that, and genetics play a big role too, yes?

Sixxie, when did I last tell you how much I hate you?? LOL (post edited accordingly )

Larry, yes, geographical, and Seeit, yes, genetics...all contributing factors, but I'm thinking more like:

Epistemology--We "know what we think we know."

    got my forty homey?

    Abs***outley!

Now I live in the rural part of New York in Orange County but I carry myself like I did from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, rollin in my hydro with the 20 inch dana's blasting Snoop Dog and Mack 10. With a 40 in my hand.

Odrade, no, I didn't see that movie, or the other one where the Coke bottle falls out of the sky and becomes a God. LOL I've led a very sheltered life.

Carmel, you know that I know that you know what I'm trying to say here...so just back off and get those salmon steaks ready.

Life is what it is, because it simply is what it is, and we are what we are, simply because that is what we are.

Not the definitive Aristotleian ideal, but, as Einstein observed ( The World as I See it):

How strange is the lot of us mortals. Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he senses it.
