I'd make sure they understood what not taking blood could mean to them, and what Df/|DA actually means in the real world to them. I would also explain what would happen if they decided to serve their country, or vote. JWS lie and soft peddle all this stuff, but people should hear the the UNVARNISHED TRUTH about the consequences of the things mentioned.

One thing I would do is inform an up and coming newb jw about the actual baptism questions, especially #2 and how it was 'simplified' in june 1985 to more clearly indicate loyalty to a earthly organization and that because of that, they can simply disfellowship you for virtually any reason they want to and, for example, the laws in a country like the US basically respect the right of a religious group to discipline and manage their own, and furthermore, YOU WILL BE THEIR OWN after baptism.
Then, I would give them their own gift-wrapped copy of Crisis of Conscience.
