I'm doing some research into early JW/Bible student history. Does anyone know where I can get the court transcripts of Russell's divorce case, or other info about frauds he committed or his freemasonry connections?
Isn't it a joke that God chose a man of such a dubious record to be his representative on earth? In the whole wide world, could He not find someone better than him?
And wasn't da boozy Judge Rutherford a son of the Gehenna twice as evil as his tricky spiritual father Pastor Russell?
Go to Google , type in Charles Taze Russell blood line. It might not have exactly what you are looking for be it is worth reading about who the jws follow.
I think the Russelites follow Russell. JWs I think follow Rutherford. If you look at the history. There was a break.
The book "The Four Presidents of the WT Society" has excerpts from the divorce testimony. The bibliography might point you to more.

It didn't start out as a Russell topic, but it has a slant in that direction. The reason that I point this out is that RR is a BIBLE STUDENT. They know a lot of the historic background.
