Beaker ,that was sad and hard to read till i got to the end and the great poem. The jws have no problem distroying lives and family , actually i think they feed on it. You will get stronger everyday and the thoughts of the watchtower bs will be in the past like a nightmare you can wakeup from. You are strong and courages for seeing the cult for what it is.

That was fantastic! You are so right - the world is a great place and its waiting for you - come on in and enjoy it.
Like you when I left I walked away from my family ( did not have hubbie & kids at that point) but walked from everyone else. Sure was a scary time but I got over it and am now better and stonger than ever.

Welcome Beaker! Seeing what u have seen as reflected in ua poem was very painful 4 me.But three and a half years down the line my life is much richer and much more normal than when I came to "my senses" ( using wbts terminology). By the way have u been to Timothy Campbell's web-site? I found it very useful when I was at the stage u r in now.

Ahem, having authored 33 poems myself a couple of years ago, I can say I was mightily impressed with both your rhyme and reason.
It's really therapeutic, don't you think, to write songs/poetry? It forces you to really pinpoint what you want to say.
