Humor just kind of gently rains down on you, or drizzles gently. Sarcasm is congeled humor.

Definitely think humor and even sarcasm are helpful in getting to know a person. Some people don't like sarcasm, so you know right away that they don't like you and some people barely have any sense of humor, so you know right away that you don't like them .
