Glad to hear that Apostate. I know you will enjoy it. We have fun in that room at times. It isn't always just talk about the WT.

Had I know it was you who had opened that room on paltalk ( Apostates welcome) I would have stuck around awhile.

    Welcome Ticatoo,

Glad you stepped out of the shadows and joined us here.

BTW, my wife's hometown is not far from Lake Woebegon and shopping for her was always a trip to the "big" city of St. Cloud.

We relieve the boredom of long winter trips up north with tapes of Garrison Keillor.

Wasn't one of his stories about a housemaid who used to leave religious magazines about the house? I wonder where that idea came from!

    Thanks Ticatoo,

'We are what we are' .. mmm sounds a bit Taoist. Believe it or not 'Praire Home Companion' was a favorite radio show of mine a few years back .. it was kinda weird listening to that in the australian countryside. (I don't think it's broadcast here anymore).. now what brand were those water crackers that sponsered the show?..

    cheers, unclebruce

Digeridoo - Is that Shaun McGowen of the 'Pogue ma Hoens' you'd be quoting? ... A fellow Pogues fan? - Brilliant!

    Uncle Bruce,

You can listen to Prairie Home Companion on the net now. I work on Saturday, so I catch the part of the show I miss this way. Here's a link to one of my favorite archived shows, featuring Jeff Lang, an Australian guitarist (I ended up ordering his cd):

The links at the top will take you to other archived shows and to their home page, where you'll find a link to listen/watch online.

    Has your family tried 'em?

    Heavens, they're tasty and expeditious!

    Hi Tic

It's very nice to have you post on here. I guess everyone else beat me to welcoming you.

I will try and get on Pal Talk more often. It's a shame about the time difference.

    See U

: Get to know this. Like I'm really scared of a person who came from a 3rd Generation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

You shouldn't be, Freddie Boy, since you yourself are a third generation offspring of brothers and sisters mating. Your gene pool wouldn't cover a pinhead. Your comments prove my claim. Do you have the "Hapsburg Jaw and underbite?" Probably worse. Were you one of the mountain guys in "Deliverance?" It wouldn't surprise me. Nothing about you surprises me, except your rank stupidity.
