Hi Everyone,
I do it all the time. Pretty much for the same reasons BigTex gave. Also, from the fear of sounding stupid, or being rejected. For me, I think the problem is perfectionism. Which is a hard habit (or trait) to break!

Sometimes I do. Especially if it is a long thought i am trying to express. I might even get into something too close to a nerve inside of me or too much exposure into me, that I will have second thoughts and as I pause, sometimes hit the close/cancel button...
Other times I've put a lot of work and thought into a thread and then something happens, a glitch where I lose it.. bam!! gone!! and I think.. MAN, I dont have to have to retype all of that!! so I say FORGET It! Sometimers later I come back and retype it.. other times I never get back

That is usally why,my post are short and sweet,I like to keep what I feel simple and to the point.

Sometimes I have written long responses and then before I send them I read them over and ask myself..
Gee's am I trying to write a book?.. and delete some
Or I've deleted big chunks thinking that I've written to much personal info.
Also, there are times when I post it and regret it thinking I've said to much.
...
I guess I just don't measure up to my own critique sometimes.
sincerely

Yes, but more often it's Angharad that drags me away from the keyboard so I can't press 'Submit'
Believe me, if I was allowed to post what I really thought there would be some sparks !

Yes, especially when I am angry. Some flaming threads deserve to die. The best way to kill them is to refuse to join in the fray.
