What am I to do?? This is SO FRUSTRATING. To top that off I have 2 little girls that go to meetings with
her on a regular basis.
Thats a hard one an there isnt much you can do.love her unconditionally and learn as much as you can.
maybe every so often she will be open to your point of view.
never argue religion because they are told they will be hated and you will just be reinforcing the lies she has been told

Honestly, I've been through the same range of emotions you're going through. I'm in the same boat. Quick advice: Work on yourself, then work on her. Get a hold of yourself, don't blame her for accepting such lunacy and try and get closer to her. Be more understanding and open. She is under sophisticated mind-controlling influences. Don't blow up. It's counter-productive. I would suggest reading all you can about Watchtower psychology under freeminds.org. That's where you should start, not getting into doctrinal arguments. I chased the doctrinal thing and even the 1914 fallacy, making historical charts and graphs, the whole 9 yards. I even got her to back down with NO answers or comebacks regarding the nature of the soul in light of various scriptures, etc. Logical argumentation generally doesn't do much good unless she's already on the fence.
I don't have time to get into many of the fine points, but buy "Releasing the Bonds" from Steven Hassan. Take detailed notes on what are the underlying influences behind her actions and learn them well. One principle I found that helped me understand things was "cognitive dissonance theory". Basically that one will strive to make their behaviors, thoughts and emotions ALL in harmony. If one of those mental aspects are manipulated to change, then the person will experience much discomfort or "dissonance" until the other two fall in line. The hook for many mind-controlling groups is the emotional factor. People think they've found all the answers for every question they've ever had, they've finally found a community of truly thoughtful, sincere, happy, united people, they've become part of an exclusive group that out of all the world is favored and chosen by God, etc., etc...This is a very powerful emotional trip...So to stay on this trip, they have to adjust their thoughts and behavior to comply...If you slam a thought of "reality" into their face, like 1914 is a complete joke, they treat you like the plague...not only did the WTS say you would oppose Jehovah's people, but it make's 'em feel horrible inside to be slapped with something that threatens to tear down the very foundation of all their security.
The trick is to gain her trust, then systematically begin to address the various 'hooks', such as fears, guilt, etc., which are keeping her immovable...
Hope this helps...

1. Make known Gods name : Jehovah.
Ask her if it's fitting that god's name is known for cheap sales tactics, annoyances, circular reasonings, false prophecies and anal rententivenes. If they're truly making god's name known, then it would be known for something good instead of something bad.
2. Love among selves-
Ask her "Are you really loving eachother if you shun a person that questioned a teaching that was later determined to be 'false' and 'old light'"?
To her, websites are apostate.
Then paper isn't "Apostate". Print out the UN NGO document from the UN's official website.
She only sees what's going on in her own congregation of about 100 people and what she reads in the magazines(WT) It 's pretty much like a social club where everyone shares their struggles with one another. Funny how a majority of the people are always ill in some way. (Outside of her congregation, I'm well aware of whats goin on. She does'nt want to hear about it. If its not from the WT then its from the devil.) (Makes me sick to my stomach)
Then catch her in her circular reasoning and closed mindedness. Ask a question like "What if I told you that god says you couldn't get a lung transplant or vaccinations?" She would then call you either the "A" word or say "That would be false." If it's answering # 2, say "The Watchtower didn't seem to think so 50 years ago." and show her the quotes from old WT's http://quotes.watchtower.ca on those issues. And then ask her "If those teachings aren't scriptual now, how could they be scriptual then?"
3. Spreading the news worldwide about the coming of gods kingdom. Evil being destroyed.
Tell her to watch 3ABN sometime and see an even larger church (The Seventh Day Adventists) preach about god's kingdom coming on an even larger scale (3ABN reaches throughout all 6 inhabited continents and uses a medium that more people partake of, television than of pamphlets.)

1st John 4:18: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
1st John 3:23: And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
John 3:3: Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 6:28-29: Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

Kevin,
: 28I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them.
29But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."
These two verses make me quiver in my boots.
Why? They're all bullshit: " ALL sins and blasphemies of men willl be forgiven. Uh, no I didn't really mean ALL, I meant all but one (the writer therefore lied): blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will NOT be forgiven."
I say: "Ok, fine. What then is blasphemy against some ghost or energy source?"
Defender of Truth(tm) says: "You have to figure it out, and if you figure it out wrong, you are screwed."
I say: "Ok, fine. That makes perfect sense to me. I cannot blaspheme against the holy spirit and I have no idea exactly WHAT the holy spirit is and YET I have NO IDEA what really constitutes any sort of blasphemy against this holy spirit might be, but if I do this thing that I'm not sure I might be doing, I'm screwed forever, right?"
Defender of Truth(tm) says: "Right. You're screwed forever."
I say: "That doesn't make any sense to me."
Defender of Truth(tm) says: "Get used to it. It's God's way and we cannot understand God's ways."
I say: "Therefore, God is an inconsistent idiot with rules that are incomprehensible, you fool!"
Defender of Truth(tm) says: "God will kill you."
I say: "I apologize for what I said. God is not an inconsistent idiot. He is TOTALLY consistent. He ALWAYS kills people since the beginning of his creation of them. When he kills me he will prove my point: he's absolutely consistent in the killing thing. It's his best feature and he does it better than any human, including Hitler, Stalin, Ghengis Khan and Pol Pot. He killed his own SON and then tells us we should be grateful for it, and then tries to get us to hate the Jews who carried the whole thing out."
Defender of Truth(tm) says: "You're just bitter."
I say: "No, I'm just confused about the idiocy of your god. You're just stupid."

The following shows the Society's take as to what the "unforgivable" sin is.
***
w92 9/15 pp. 9-10 Jehovah Forgives in a Large Way ***Some
Sins Unforgivable5
Some sins are unforgivable. Jesus Christ said: "Every sort of sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven." (Matthew 12:31) So, then, blasphemy against God?s holy spirit, or active force, will not be forgiven. The apostle Paul alluded to such sin when he wrote: "It is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, . . . but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance, because they impale the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame."?Hebrews 6:4-6.
NOTE BY CORVIN: Notice that Hebrews 6:4-6 is not quoted completely. They left out the most important part which applies only to themselves and not the great crowd. " 4 For it is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, and who have tasted the heavenly free gift, and who have become partakers of holy spirit, 5 and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, 6 but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance, because they impale the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame." Sorry WT dudes, this Scripture is all for you.

Only God knows if a person has committed the unforgivable sin. However, Paul shed light on this matter when he wrote: "If we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment." (Hebrews 10:26, 27) A willful person acts deliberately, or is "obstinately and often perversely self-willed." (Webster?s New Collegiate Dictionary) Anyone willfully and obstinately continuing to practice sin after he knows the truth is not forgiven. Hence, it is not so much the sin itself as it is the heart condition, the degree of willfulness involved, that affects whether the sin is forgivable or not. On the other hand, what is likely the case when an erring Christian is deeply disturbed about his wrongdoing? His great concern probably indicates that he has not, in fact, committed an unforgivable sin.NOTE: The kicker is that the WTBTS has been lying their butts off since the beginning, and even more so now, therefore this paragraph which implies that all who learn the Society's version of "the truth" and willfully sin, cannot be forgiven. Since the WTBTS HAS NOT been teaching the real truth, whatever that might be, we cannot very well be deliberately sinning against the Holy Spirit, but only against the organization itself, and there is a huge difference between the two. The above is such a broad encompassing statement since these buzz words, "willfully", "obstinately", "heart condition" can all be applied to those baptized JW's who merely question their teachings.
Their
Sins Were Unforgivable7
Certain Jewish religious leaders who opposed Jesus did commit willful, and thus unforgivable, sin. Though they saw God?s holy spirit at work through Jesus as he did good and performed miracles, those clerics ascribed his power to Beelzebub, or Satan the Devil. They sinned with their eyes wide open to the undeniable operation of God?s spirit. Thus, they committed unforgivable sin, for Jesus said: "Whoever speaks against the holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, no, not in this system of things nor in that to come."?Matthew 12:22-32.NOTE: The WTBTS is constantly trying to dazzle us with examples and evidence of how God's Holy Spirit "undeniably" operates within the organization. Therefore, they imply that speaking against or "opposing" the organization and its governing body is the same as committing the unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit.

The sin of Judas Iscariot also was unforgivable. His betrayal of Jesus was the willful, deliberate culmination of a course of hypocrisy and dishonesty. For instance, when Judas saw Mary anoint Jesus with costly oil, he asked: "Why was it this perfumed oil was not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor people?" The apostle John added: "[Judas] said this, though, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief and had the money box and used to carry off the monies put in it." Soon thereafter, Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. (John 12:1-6; Matthew 26:6-16) True, Judas felt remorse and committed suicide. (Matthew 27:1-5) But he was not forgiven, since his deliberate, persistently selfish course and his treacherous act reflected his sin against the holy spirit. How appropriate that Jesus should call Judas "the son of destruction"!?John 17:12; Mark 3:29; 14:21.***
w93 4/1 p. 14 Who Are Following the Light of the World? ***John 9:16 relates: "Some of the Pharisees began to say [about Jesus]: ?This is not a man from God, because he does not observe the Sabbath.?" How perverted their hearts were! Here a marvelous healing had taken place, but instead of expressing joy for the formerly blind man and appreciation for the healer, they condemned Jesus! By doing so, they doubtless sinned against the manifestation of God?s holy spirit, an unforgivable sin.?Matthew 12:31, 32.
NOTE: Again, here we see that the Society implies that we should be able to clearly see the manifestation of God's holy spirit in the organization. To question or criticize it is to sin against the Holy Spirit.
