After those traitors Portsmouth failed to act as our safety cushion at the bottom the the premiership and stormed up the league, we needed things to work out this weekend.

Our victory yesterday again Newcastle (sorry Gadget & KenUK) plus Bolton's 4-1 thrashing of Leeds means that it practially guaranteed that Leeds join Leicester & Wolves gonig down to Division 1 instead of us !

Man City ... lowest club not to be relegated - what a result !

I have to admit that City didn't 'deserve' to be relegated, but I'm not really sure Leeds do either. Leicester are becoming the yo-yos of the Premier aren't they? Up and down, up and down.

I wouldn't be hopeful! To make it in the Premier a club needs a massive injection of funds to meet the player costs. Let's face it, the players who get you to the top of the Nationwide aren't in the same grade as the Premier.

A polarisation is taking place. Not a pretty picture.

When I first saw this thread title, a couple of days ago, I immediately thought it was about either bed-times or viagra. Just shows how wrong you can be.

Sorry, no matter how hard I tried not to share - I finally succumbed

I try to follow World football/soccer by being an avid fan of World Cup. I tried to follow the European Cup games but without premium sports tv and the time difference, it's too much.

At least i straggle along with 1 every 4 years and we get to see who the world champions are :-)

i would have loved to have seen kevin keegan's face if man c had been relegated, but i prefered leeds to go down anyway so all's well that ends well.
