What I would love to see on the profiles though is more info about people in the bio part. It is understandable that people want to protect their identity but it is very useful to be able to look up whether members are ex/current/never been JW's, married/single, have kids/none, etc. Just helps put peoples comments in perspective & also assists with who to turn to for specific queries. I'm sure it could be done in a way so as not to reveal your real self with just a brief outline of your story.

Maybe we should just have a list of topics in our profiles, so we can tick off the ones we're available to take enquiries on. Seems like a lot of work to set up though.

I'm 45, but I don't put my age in because I don't want to be outed to my JW family and my details all put together would definitely ring a bell to anyone who knows me. I'm not usually paranoid but JWs have very little entertainment besides gossiping, so stuff gets around fast. But I never lie about my age, I'm proud of having survived this long. I expected to die in 1975! (although I got a clue when they changed it to 1978)

Nope , i really am 16. I know that on this site you need to withold some details but i don't see the point in lying about your age... what would you possibly gain from that?? Maybe i just don't understand what it's like to be in the 'mature' years.
