Well, its not so much a new tattoo but having an old one expanded to cover more of my shoulder. I got most of it done yesterday, but we ran out of time and so I had to go back this afternoon to get it finished off. And having a tattoo over the top of where it was only tattoo'd the previous day hurts so much! I must be going soft....... I just hope its all healed up nicely ready for when I go to Canada next Friday. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/69161/1.ashx If you look closely at the photo you can see the slight colour difference between the old tattoo in the centre and the new darker stuff round the outside, but hopefully it'll all be blended in by the time I go. Anyone else been getting anywork done or planning to soon?

    Hi Gadget.

The picture is not very clear to me gadge .. mostly a dark shadow.

Maybe if you took the picture with the light highlighting right on the tatoo it would show up better.

lol.. what the light is highlighting is your belly I think LOL.

If you can take another picture and post it up again.

    thanks

    Nice Tat Gadget.

I have a Tiger on one shoulder/arm that goes almost to the elbow. I have an old school bird on the other shoulder that I would like covered by Troy Lane. He is in Miami, FL and does insane work http://www.prickmag.net/troylanefeature.html

Any other artists in Florida that anyone recommends?

I put up another pic, its not as good a pic as the first one because the flash messed up, but you can see the tat better. And 46 isn't too old to get a tattoo!

Gadget- nice work! It looks very good where you have it; just remember to slather it with sunblock when you wear short sleeves, so it will stay sharp looking.

kls- you're never too old! In fact, a lot of times people really regret the tattoos they got when they were 18 or 20, they tend to get lots of designs that just don't look good 20 years down the road. However, in your 40's, you have developed a better sense of yourself, and will likely choose something of lasting beauty. Ask my mom, she's 63 and saving up for her 5th tat. She got her first one less than ten years ago.

Kls...you are not too old for a tattoo.......geez..wait till your kids are 46 and see what they want!

I am 47...and have been debating a tattoo for a long while...I want one lower, mid-section of my back, so when I wear my bikini it can be seen!

Still haven't found the design that I want though!
