I wish someone could publish that somewhere so people can see what the JW's are really about. It''s really psychotic.

I once dated a JW guy who was really a jerk. When I broke up with him, my mother today thinks he "stumbled" me out of the truth. (It took more than one jerk to do that, and I didn't stumble, a left when IR realized the inconsistencies and I couldn't see living the rest of my life in psychological prison).

Later, my said something like "the worst man in the truth is still better than the best man in the world." When I pointed out what a jerk he was (yes, she knew), she said it would have still been better to marry him. Turned my stomach. She just didn't get it.

Big Tex! You deleted my modest man in bondage pic? Why would you do that? Was it offensive? I don't understand. Why haven't you deleted and censored many of the other pics that are way more offensive or riskae?

This little poem thingys used to make me feel pukey even when i was a JW, but now I couldn't even make it half way through that bit of inane writing. I still get these forwards in the mail from ones who are trying to "encourage me." I can barely read them anymore--I have one I was going to post--will do it later after my stomach settles down a bit. I remember a recent one about having nothing to fear because now I am on Jehovah's team! It was a chearful little ditty--a rah rah rah for the Org...

I have known just as many happily married JW couples as non JW couples, so I guess I have been lucky.

I was shocked a few times of course....like the one sister that had married her husband right out of high school, and then 20 years later left him for his best friend....just two years or so after they had had their last kid.

On, to find out that a couple that I just adored decided they needed to separate so he could find himself, after 10 years of marriage...but I have seen non witness marriages break up too.

My mom was appalled when I annouced I was marrying an "unbeliever" . Dunnn dunnnn dahhhh!! But of course, I had already faded away, and would have never been involved with him when I was a JW nazi.

In fact, there were at least two guys when I was a nazi that I was seriously interested in, and vice versa that were not JWs...and I totally cut off spending time with them. SO sad ...but if I had not, I would have my husband, so it is all for the best.

One of the elders in my congregation read this "poem" to the congregation and recieved the reaction expected from any good Witness. I am so disgusted that they would use such a repulsive tactic to scare their followers into obedience.
