In reading the latest (6/1/04) Watchtower, I took note of what was missing.

In the article, "Which Religion Should You Choose?", several statistics are mentioned

    - numbers of books placed, numbers of magazines peddled, and number of average

Bible Studies "in 235 lands". However, there was no reference to 6,184,046 publishers

putting 1,234,796,477 hours in the "ministry". Usually, these bogus numbers are tossed

in amidst the Society's propaganda to portray how zealous and strong Witnesses are.

I am forced to wonder if OUR MANY POSTS about being a fake publisher , putting in

fake hours, has finally gotten them to wake up from their self-glorified stupor. Much of

what they claim is simply fiction - a showy, self-elevating edifice that WE ARE

TEARING DOWN, piece by piece! You can personally make those statistics into lies

simply by putting in a fake field service report - and quietly laughing to yourself when

    the 2005 Yearbook/ Jan. 1 '05 Watchtower comes out!

If you're reading this, Brother Monitor, consider that the organization's days are numbered.

    You are losing:

    Contributions

    Meeting attendance

    Young Witnesses

and zeal - as the internal Witness malaise intensifies.

    Have a Nice Day,

In 2002, Nina received a call from the congregation secretary (who didn't even know her name). To make a long story short (too late) the purpose of his little call was to find out her field service time since the circuit overseer was coming and they needed to have all publishers reporting as active or the CO would chew on the elders. Nina disgustedly told him she had not been out in several months and doubted she would be out in the near future either.

The secretary quickly asked if she 'read' the Bible with her children. Answer came there yes, and so he cheerfully told her that not only did she qualify for 4 hours of field service time but she got credit for a bible study as well. He quickly hung up as the little number cruncher got what he wanted.

For all we know she's still getting credit for 4 hours of field service time 2 years later!

Phantom numbers put in by phantom publishers. Sounds like Hitler in his bunker ordering phantom armies to attack the Soviets. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

    metatron,

they pretend to be gods channel...do you really think they care about faking statistics?

Like other totalitarians, they are deceived by their own lies and have no real idea

what the cold truth is. I have observed big changes in regard to what's being posted

about the organization on the internet in recent years - and I think it fairly reflects that

this cult is a lot more undermined than the enfeebled 'Theocrats' know.

Word gets around, you know - and the value of gossip and rumor and 'backchannel'

information goes up in proportion to how repressive an organization is.

I REALLY don't think the Society cares about the "truth" of stats or anything other than their own image.....Besides, who's going to know that the numbers are fake unless JWs go to "apostate" boards?

Would that be a graven image? lol

Frankly, I doubt it. After all, we're nothing but a bunch of lying apostates. Even if we're telling the truth about faking our own service hours, it just goes to show that we were never "in the truth" to begin with - no wonder we left!

Of course the fact that Brother Goodpublisher and Brother Pioneer who may be reading these posts may be doing the same things themselves will only add to the guilt the Society has already inflicted upon them. They won't be able to stretch their minds enough to admit that lots and lots of JWs do this, and that the organization tacitly encourages it. The mind control, in most cases, is just too strong for that.

That is TOO FUNNY!! Nothing like a little honesty to keep things moving!

ROFLMFAO!! Gives new meaning to the word "desperado".

I think the main reason they didn't include this silacious bit of info, is because it's embarrassing to them. Virtually all Witnesses know that there's been about 6,000,000 Witnesses earth-wide for the last 10 years. There's been virtually no increase, due to everyone and their brother leaving. I believe that the one billion hours of Service is about normal for each year. That means, in the last 10 years, over 10 billion hours have been spent preaching to people earth wide, with no increase to show for all their efforts. If they were registered as a business instead of a charitable institute, they would've declared bankruptcy years ago.
