I hope to hell there is life after life, because the thought of me not existing never ever again.......bugs the crap out of me. I don't want to be gone forever unless it's similar to this life. I would'nt want to live forwvwr like it is now. Nobody will be able to answer the question of an afterlife...at least..... until they die.

I suppose once your dead it won't matter.....but it's the thought of it while your alive you have to deal with, and that's a toughie sometimes.

I think it was Einstein who said that 'energy never dies, it just changes form.' That makes sense to me, so I do believe there is another realm of existence that I/we will pass into. We have evolved as a society of people on this earth to believe that being "good" is better than being "bad", so since this must be part of our natural make-up, where we go from here must be partly based on our heart and mind condition.

If my theory on that is wrong, I still get much more enjoyment in the here and now by trying to be kind, loving, forgiving and understanding, etc. that I'll live my life pursuing those paths anyway.

It feels good that I can say that I am ALMOST 100% convinced that any potential supreme being out there is not nearly as judgemental and condemning as Christianity and lots of other faiths teach.

That's true.....but that never did anything for me. If I'm a bug or piece of bacteria....and I'm not gumby, I might as well be dead. Unless bugs or bacteria can have a great time, and remember who they were BEFORE, and can relate to it, I'll go with shotgun and settle for just bein wormfood when I go.

well christian heaven sounds kinda creepy...so yea, no thanks...

but I have to admit when my mom died...and the last breathe came out...it was almost like I saw the life leave her. I figure it had to go somewhere...everything that made the special person that she was just couldn't die. I don't know where it goes or what happens but I do feel that somehow somewhere she is still alive.

course I believe in fairies and mermaids too.....
