WOW!!!!! so im glad so many ppl are on here....its great....i love makeing new friends and all that fun stuff....a lot of ppl in here really helped me through the crap of getting outta the org. !!!!

I wish I would have had access to a site like this when I was a teen, and had the chance to meet other teens in similar situations to mine. Who knows what the possabilities may have been
XLaura......you and i are gonna have to fight this one out (not for real) cuz when i was a JW EVERYONE hated me beyond normal,....i was the one parents wouldnt let their kids been seen with let alone tlak to...i thought it was great...quit funny really'

I don't understand why u were hated so much though? I mean you were a good jw child that followed all of the rules and attended the meetings?I never even made friends with any1 in the congregation except one girl who was unlike all the rest. Nobody ever tried to change me because when laura says no,she really does mean it. Everybody knows what i'm like.... even the ppl on here arev starting to learn!!

Sometimes it's not that easy Laura. Sometimes all it takes is getting the wrong haircut, wearing the wrong thing, being seen by someone's mom talking to the wrong person. Saying teh wrong thing at a baby shower and having one girl in teh congregation not like you, then her mom not liking you, then that mom telling another mom that you're a bad association. All it takes sometimes is the smallest thing to become a "bad association." I've seen it happen over and over again.
I love sin as much as the next ex-jw :)
You'll realize that people in the [real] world aren't nearly as hateful as people in dub-land. we'll get in arguments/discussions here, but it usually cools over after a couple glasses of beer are shared,

i wasnt liked becuz my bestfriend happend to be a male...and they frown on that and the fact that i had a life (kinda) outside the org.
That's just ridiculous.Lol, half of my best friends are male and i would not change them for the world. Maybe it's just me but my congregation have never been as strict as most of the people here talk about. Maybe it;s the fact that they realised i was a no-hoper that was never gonna be like any of them? That's why practically all of my friends are worldly and we have such a ball
