Where everyone puts the past behind them, moves on and tries to rekindle what might otherwise have been good friendships, under ideal circumstances?

Several here in times past, I have been rude to, offensive even. But if just for one post, I could make one further friend from this admission and give that individual everything in my power to assist them and become mates, the post will have been worth it.

How many of us might do that here right now?

Sixofnine, I'm sorry, you and I have not always seen eye to eye, can we please one day share if you would be so kind, a supportive conversation and my sincere apologies for putting you on the spot, I hope not, that I have caused you embarrassment, in asking you first?

What I hate seeing is people that I both know arguing and not getting on when I know they are both decent and good-hearted people.

Celtic ... you are a "balm-pot" (?) at times, it would help to cool the insults & language a bit especially with people who don't understand that use of the language in England.

Yes, brits call each other "F***ing Arseholes" and all sorts of stuff when they are talking to friends but other people take things like that literally.

Aye Simon I guess so, not sure though that that had anything to do with this post, maybe it did, but hmmmmm, not sure, anyway, yes, you are right of course, but blow it, does that mean we canna use our real insults, since, so far, we have only affectionately been using our milder 'insults', can I say that really really awful one, the one that got banned throughout the south east, that you could be arrested for if spoken publicly, I guess not, darn. Anyway, how are you this morning, tis blinkin lovely day today down this end, clear blue skies and a Sunday, the best day of the week, I think I'm off gardening, then off to visit some gardens I think, what you up to today? See you at the bbq soon, hope you are well.

We have a nice sunny day up in the grim north too ... I mowed the lawn yesterday and have the sprinkler running. Just doing some work at the mo and will then be out to have a beer and a BBQ.

See you at Mike's in the summer !

You, you ruddy Little Toe the line balmpot?!! You?!! Offend anyone, I don't believe it. It's not in your nature, you're one of the nicest guys I've ever met ever. You can take that as a compliment.

Life is just way too short and way too precious to hold grudges in my opinion. I have had "issues" in the past w/certain ones, and I try to remember that we both are coming from a different place and different circumstances in life. The best from me was to take a needed break, regroup my thoughts, decide just how important is it and move forward and try to remain civil to others.

To be honest, when I have had had "issues", I often have taken a time out and found out what it was teaching me about myself. How and why I reacted and why it is/was so important to me. It really was a self examining process and a life lesson put before me to understand myself better.
