(((kitties))) what an awful experience. You showed a lot more restraint than I would have. I want their phone number.

kitties this is a perfect example of the unwritten nonsense that IS the JW experience. Glad you posted this for those who can't quite "get" just how ridiculously cultish the JW mindset is.
Yeah, I think there are probably a few of us who would like their phone#/ address. Like to give those loving christian Witnesses a piece of my commonsense apostate mind.
I hope the little boy was okay. You did good kitties.

Thanks everybody for your kind words. My only hope is that the boy who got hit is doing alright; I looked in the paper this morning and didn't see anything about the accident. (We live in a small community so things like that are often in the paper.) I would bet a million dollars that everyone on this board would do more than that lovely "Christian" dub family - but what's the big deal, if the kid dies they parents can be converted to dubs in their desperation to see him in the paradise, right?
Sounds to me like you did all that was humanly possible to help the injured boy.
The J.W. kids parents well......that is just dumb, Although I do realize that maybe the man did not have a car available.
But him having a car is not the point in this.
The point is of him shunning you and not taking the faster route of letting you drive him to the parents house of the injured boy. Just quite stupid really, on his part.
You are probably wondering how the injured boy is. If you know the address you could drop a thinking of you or get well card .. or something.
Again , you did everything right.
In fact, if this happens to any one of my boys, .. I hope someone just like you is there to help them.
sincerely

What a f#cking disgrace.
Well done

If it's such a small community, and you don't miund the profile, you should write about it to the paper.
I'm sure they'd LOVE to report on another side to the so-called loving JW's...
Just a thought.
Shoking !

Sometimes I wish there was a hell.
There is a hell. It's called the Watchtower Society. It's members don't even recognize the extent of their own suffering because they've lost all sense of self, all commn sense, and all sense of decency. We're the lucky ones because we found that there is a way out of that hell.

It made me so angry - there was no way of knowing how badly the boy was hurt, and those extra 5 minutes (had they been home) could have potentially, for all this other boy's JW dad knew, be the last time they could have seen their son alive.
What a disgrace. I hope that one day this JW wakes up enough to be embarrased by this behavior -- the extent some go in their shunning is shameful.
