A family member (who is a Witness) said they're going to some event June 5 through June 12. I'm assuming it's a JW activity of some sort. She didn't tell me what it was, and I didn't ask. (She knows how I feel about the WTS). Anyone know it could be?

The only major event I am aware of that happens on June 5th is that it is the first day of summer vacation for my son -- and the first day of "What Am I Going To Do With Him For the Summer?" for me!!!

June 5th thru 12th, a whole week? Could be a district convention, but I'm guessing she's going to "serve where the need is greater." Alot of dubs spend their first week of summer vacation "serving Jehovah," presumably so they don't feel too selfish if they actually do something for themselves during summer break. Poor dubbies.
Isn't that the date they are now saying Armageddon will come???
