The Australian JW couple were married only 10 days prior in Bali
Maybe if they had been married in a Kingdom Hall this would never have happened!
This article is hilarious! They make these people sound like real nut jobs. They risk dying because they don't accept lifesaving blood transfusions, but apparently (according to the article) spousal abuse, assault with a deadly weapon, and numerous other infractions of the Bible's laws on love and forgiveness are easily ignored.
Too bad the reporter didn't quote some dumb-ass elder saying something stupid in this article. That would have been the icing on the cake.

I've been wondering if she will get DFd?
Were there 2 witnesses to the actual stabbing? If not, and she claims innocence, then even if she is convicted, at least her spiritual salvation will remain intact.
Oh wait,,, she's not a pedophile! They will probably DF her.

All I can say is:
Sort of reminds me of the time my Theocratic mother stabbed me in the stomach with a screwdriver because I didn't get out of her way fast enough.
Wow! What a test of forgiveness that will be and what a fine example he will set for the congregation when he walks back into the hall with her on his arm...NOT!
I would NOT be sleeping in the same room or house with her. Matter of fact it would be PMS [Pack My Suitcase] time...
I had a buddy where he tried to run his s**t [or verbal demeaning] on his new bride and she stabbed him for it. I don't condone any kind of domestic violence BUT .................................................. I can understand it...
gespro -the amazing smoking baboon who must've sprung a naval area leak from the screwdriver
She needs to study more, attend more meetings, go out in Field Service more, pray more,
Perhaps she will be able to do all of that in prison.
I always knew that those "Family Life Book" studies were never going to work !
Actually , it is not a really a joke . And we do not know the extent of their affilliation (although strong enough for him to refuse blood)
To Stab him twice , wasn't it chest and arm takes a real intent. Did not the aforementioned book say that a happy marriage is a union of two cheerful forgivers?
You know what the real sad thing is about this? He won't be able to divorce her ass because she hasn't committed adultery.
Swan. Right on!

And to be rescued by the St. John's Ambulance, must be a cause for concern as well.
She needs to study more, attend more meetings, go out in Field Service more, pray more, and be more submissive to her husband who is dead.
eh Elsewhere ....isn't this what you meant to say?
Sincerely,

Maybe he can get some xxxx at the hospital. Get divorced for his infidelity, so in a year he can get re-instated to have this happen all over again.......... As long as no blood was taken or shared!
