I had dinner with my devout JW in-laws last night, (and the night before, and the night before, aaargh, long story) anyways, I was dying to bring this up, but my 10 and 11 y.o. JW niece and nephew were there too and I didn't want to make those kinds of waves. Their parents are wavering in their faith I think, and I didn't want to traumatize the kids and force the parents to defend JW actions.
BUT, I would have loved to hear my in-laws trying to defend this huge boondoggle.

I agree! I did a search on Google about DUMBO... here is what I found:

I wonder how they can justify saying to the rank and file that the governing body senses that the end is very near and that is the reason why they are selling some of the buildings in NY?
