Thanks everyone! Hopefully, someone will post more pix when they get the time. You're right, Bugster.. except for my Mr. Crabby Pants, there were grins on everyone's faces, all the time! Raucous outbursts of laughter and giggling were heard constantly. Even Badger when he was snoozing, he had a smile on his face... heheheh. I hope he doesn't kill me for this, but I just *gotta* tell this story! Yes, yes.. another story.

On Saturday night, Badger was pretty exhausted. JoannaDandy was staying with him, so he pretty much went wherever she did. Everyone was in FMZ's room, and there was lots of smoke and noise. I went outside the room and found Badger sleeping in the hallway. Poor guy! I woke him up and took him to my room, which was next door. My husband was watching television in there, so I asked him if Badger could sleep on our bed until Joanna was ready to leave. He said sure, so Badger crashed out. I went back next door and mingled. A couple of hours later, I went next door to check on husband, and he said he was ready to go to bed, and did Badger have a place to go? I went back next door and got Logan's Run (since he wasn't sharing a room) and asked him if Badger could sleep on *his* bed until whenever. LR went next door and got Badger and took him on the elevator, where he promptly fell asleep while standing against the wall. I mean.. the guy was WORN OUT! hehhhe. He's so cute!!

I went outside the room and found Badger sleeping in the hallway.

We were wondering where he ended up. Saw him sleeping, then he was gone...thought for sure it was deminz that got him...good to know it was just Country Girl!

I think every time I saw the Badge-man he was sleeping! Hee hee!

One of the nights, the party was in FMZ's room (as usual), and the Badge was sleeping on one bed, and another gal (who shall remain nameless) was sleeping on the other bed. All about them was a raging party, complete with the door slamming, laughter, rising crescendoes of conversation, and music, and still they slumbered peacefully as they pumped out the Zzzz's.

The party thinned out around 4 a.m., and I think everyone was pretty much ready to retire for the night. We woke up the Badger, and he went home. The Sleeping Beauty, however, was another story altogether! I was sharing a room with her, and she either had the key in her pockets, or knew where to *get* the key to the room. I asked Gumbo to turn SB (Sleeping Beauty) on her side, so I could check her back pocket. No key. We then turned her the other way, and still no key in the other pocket. Grrr... She remained totally inert during the whole process. We then tickled her tummy, her feet, and her side. No response. I pinched the sides of her cheeks together and made her talk like Uncle Bill, and we laughed and she just snored. HAHAHHAHHHAHAHA... Gads was this a dilemma!

We then thought we could lift her on to the hotel baggage cart, which was conveniently located right outside the door and wheel her down to our room. Methinks that there were apostateers out there giving each other rides up and down the halls on it earlier <grin>. We brought the cart in and put it next to the bed. Gumbo and FMZ carefully lifted the dormant darling, being careful after many threats by a tired Country Girl, not to drop her. However, one leg slipped and the comatose maiden was halfway on the bed and halfway off. Still... no response. FMZ then got the supremely bright idea of getting the desk chair, which had wheels, and wheeling her down there that way. They picked her up and put her in the chair. Finally a stirring moan from the depths of the breast of the lethargic lady. She woke up, looked around, and said she wanted to go back to bed and what were we all doing in her room. We fell out laughing!

After 15 minutes, we finally convinced her that she was in THEIR room, and that it would be advantageous to all for us to go back to our own room for repose. HEHEHHE. I found her key sitting on the kitchen counter, actually two keys, but one worked and we managed to get back to our room arm in arm. Heh.

It was so cool to meet you too, Princess... tell hubby I'm sorry for talking his ear off about that con-man XJW dude!

Country Girl

It was hysterically funny! I dropped down to my knees laughing so hard. That's prolly why I got a sore throat now.. didn't shut up once during the whole fest, either laughing or yakkin!

Funny thing is: once I got the conked out chika back to the room, she wants to yak another hour! Why... I was laying on my side and had my hand up under the side of my head.. and was dropping off to sleep while she was still talking (picture dream music wavy scene) and my head fell off the pillow, and my hand got caught in my hair and pulled it! I screamed and she yelled "What's wrong?" I said "Someone pulled my hair!" She screamed "Demons!" HAHHAHAHAHHAHA. Then she said she thought it might be that i pulled my own hair... Whew!

It's true...Joanna wore me out this weekend (I suppose I deserved it though...I was not a good host)

The Badger isn't very noctournal...but he did have fun until he couldn't hold any more and collapsed.
