The most abused word in the JW lexicon is ``fine"..... overused to the point of meaninglessness; i.e., has anyone ever heard a dubbie say ``Now that was a really mediocre (or lousy!) talk.article/comment brother?"

I remember so many times thumbing thru the mags during the service meeting and then raising my hand and commenting on how nice the article on such and such was. I would find someshing toward the back of the magazine and near the end of the article to give the impression that I read the magazines in their entirety.

Once I said, "This magazine is disgusting..." rather than discussing. I heard what I said and stopped right there, and the brother with me and the householder cracked up laughing. Householder didn't take the mag if I remember correctly, but we didn't finish the apartment building the brother was laughing so hard. For many years he would bring it up and get a laugh out of us both. It wasn't that funny, except that it was... guess you had to be there...
