buildings should be accessible to disabled people
Maybe you could come in ... but don't expect to be able to participate in TMS: the stage normally has 2 steps to overcome - 
or similar handicappes disqualify you.

There were 20-30 deaf people in the cong I was in while I was interpreting there. After I left they formed their own group since they had enough elders for it by that time.
But the hall we met in had the wahsrooms downstairs and no wheelchair access into the building.
After I left they sold it and built another one that was accessible.

I have found with JWs in general that there is a disproportionately large number of disabled people. In some congos, 1 in 4 people has a disability. Maybe it has something to do with the promise of living life as a physically perfect human being. Then again, maybe it has to do with the self-destructive behavior resulting from their apocalyptic teachings.
I've seen a diabetic bury her face in a box of donuts, obviously thinking that it doesn't matter, the system will end before she is old. How many dubs I knew that were in horrible health because of disregarded diabetes alone.
There are endless illnesses that come as a result of depression, guilt, anger, frustration....all the mental conditions lovingly made possible by a high-control religious sect. How many dubs spend their golden years in stress and poor health because they wasted their working years pioneering? Instead of delivering people to eternal paradise, the GB is stealing the quality and length of its followers' lives. How ever can we thank them?

Yes,yours truly I was crippled age 13 1970 ( 5 years before the big"A") with brutal ulcerative colitis.Symptomology of 20-30 bloody bowel 'episodes' a day.
I got reviled for spending to much time in the bathroom( must be masterbating ) Wonder why I hate them so much?
