Y'all need to realize that the best team won. It was a good series and some great hockey.
What's this "the hockey gods failed us" crap? C'mon...if hockey stayed in Canada then how would the sport survive? The owners are stupid...I'll give you that. But, if a northern owner is going to sell his team because of lack of interest by the fans (i.e. MN North Stars), then that should tell you something. I do not like Tom Hicks but I will thank him every day for bringing the North Stars to Dallas. We sold out the games BEFORE the Stars won the Cup and have been selling out ever since. There's a 3 year waiting list for season tickets.
It's the GAME...not the locale.
