A cleaning lady is not a bad idea. I know one who is looking for more work and she is very reasonable and a good worker.
I'ts not me, by the way. I did that for years and hated it!!! Absolutely hated it. The only good thing about it was the money.

I hear you loud and clear. We have three kids and our lives revolve around them and their very busy schedules. The children are active socially and have many friends; not limited to their religion ( like me as a child). I am happy about that. They are involved in many extra curricular activities which require us to constantly "chaffeur" them around. My wife and I do not mind this as we consider ourselves the childrens "sponser" in life; and are attempting to expose them to many things as part of their education.
Being a parent is not always convenient or easy. We take it as our due, as expected.
Even though there is outside help for the house and property chores; we are still juggling. the children also have their chores to do; and we enforce the chores or there is no allowance.
My wife and I ALWAYS make time ( and money) to go out to dinner with each other ( just to complete a sentence without some kid interupting.), And I always make time ( usually early morning before work) to work out physically to stay in shape. As we get older the physical fitness; cardio and aerobic has such a positive effect on our bodies; and opens up so much more energy to accomplish the days activities.
The formula works for me.

On Mondays, I write down the most pressing things for the week, keeping it reasonable, and then do a little bit each day. By the weekend, the house is generally cleaned and I can relax while Rat's home. However, I do have a lot of outside ranch stuff to do, too, but am being kept inside by violent thunderstorms the last several days, and one nasty rooster that chases me. I have to carry a broom to the mailbox. Rat will help me catch him tonight when he gets home, and we will put him back in jail and hang a picture of Colonel Sanders in his cage. heheheh. Otherwise, I just get on the computer a few minutes, do a house thing, get back on, do a house thing...hehehehh.

Yeah, no kidding my husband and I have to leave the house if we wish to engage in conversation by ourselves. Or we go upstaires to our bedroom and lock the door. Oh but that doesnt keep them from knocking.
