Mom had another stroke.

Earlier this year, I posted that my Mom suffered a Stroke and we had to put her in a nursing home.

I got a call a little while ago that my Mom just suffered another stroke. She's in the hospital in ICU. My brother just called and told me it doesn't look to good.

I'm going to go up to see her first thing tomorrow morning. I have mixed feelings. I know I have to see her, but another part of me does not want to see her like that.

This just sucks!!

Please keep my Mom in your thoughts and prayers. I really would appreciate it.

So sorry for the difficult time you are facing ~ I know it hurts so deeply to see a parent suffering and afflicted with a condition that you can't change. Just be there for each other and your mom will feel your love for her. I will send positive thoughts your way.

Ahhh (((Dave))) I WILL continue to keep both you and your mom in my thoughts. My dad had a stroke last year about the same time your mother did. (not sure if you remember but I do) They didnt think he'd make it but he pulled through.

I can only hope the best for your mother, and that you find teh strength you will need to get through this difficult time. I'm sure you will.

Will do Dave. Sorry to hear this sad news. I understand your mixed emotions as I have had similar ones with my dad who is very ill. It seems that diseases that affect the brain cause this type reaction. It is a tough reality to face. You'll never regret going though. Go for her and hold her hand and tell her that you love her.

Sorry to hear that, thats why its soimportant for all of us to watch our blood pressures. My doctor just increased one of my blood pressure medications cause my pressure was slowly rising.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It's always lousy when we have to see our loved ones like this (especially as we were told we were never have to worry about them getting old).
