Since I don't have a Watchtower handy, I'm wondering if someone would help me.

On the inside cover of the WT it used to say something to the effect of the 'purpose of the WT' was to point out that the generation that saw 1914 would not pass away before armegeddon or some such nonsense.

I'm wondering if someone could post the "OLD purpose" vs. the "NEW purpose," if any such change exists.

    Thanks,
    Lisa

    LDH,

It is possible that anyone who was born in the late 19th century and very early 20th century might not see the conclusion of this system of things.

    Fredhall:

Yep, and it's definitely a strong possibilty that anyone born in the late 20th and early 21st century will not see the new system of things.
