By the way...did I sense a little of the old crafty Corvinus gene coming out in them with their loaded question/statement about the JW/relationship issue, or was that a completely innocent statement? I think I know the answer...but please clarify.
They are Corvins in many ways, LOL, and all of them daddy's girls, with the middle child, Nancy, still trying to straddle the fence to keep the peace. Elese, the oldest who first raised the issue on the way home, already knows the reaction she will get from her mom and step-dad by raising such an issue. She was being crafty. Sara had been asking loaded and baited questions of Sammie-Jo all day, and it was sickening, annoying and embarrassing, so I reckon that Elese thought mom had it coming to her . . . she wanted mom to know she saw through the bull.
The one thing that bothers me about your post, Corvin, is how stupid it makes me feel, lol. AAArrrgghh, if only I hadn't been "inculcated" from infancy - like Timothy. Hold me back, I feel a rap coming on!
6 of 9, we are the same in that we were alienated from birth, brainwashed from birth and most likely lived in too much fear of abandonment to dare ask any questions . . . let alone think for ourselves. It wasn't your fault. I am simply grateful that I know what I know now in order to save my kids from such a waist of their youth.
