When you listen to it, you hear him describe the object as something that is unique and one of a kind. I hope it was not a rare object. He was standing next to a Victrola, so I am hoping it was not a recording of something he has lost forever.

You can see his hands shaking in the close-up beforehand... I would guess he was not accustomed to being on TV, and was probably nervous.
