Alice Joslyn and Stephanie Jones.
Alice is a 52 year old newcomer, formerly a homemaker, with an awsome sexy bloozy voice . . . like Billie Holiday, Etta James, and Annie Lennox all rolled into one. The first time she sang publicly, at age 49, her brother got the band in a Florida club to have her up to do a song. When she found out what her brother had arranged, she ran out of the club terrified and literally hid under a car out in the parking lot. Her brother dragged her out from underneath the car and back into the club where she was the amazing terrified singing statue. She was rigid with fear, but when the music started playing and she opened her mouth to sing, pure gold came flowing out across the room and the crowd was mesmerized and dead silent. When she finished, her eyes were closed tight until the club erupted in cheers and applause. An encore followed.
Stephanie is a 21 year old who has got it all. She can do anything contemporary, pop, R&B, country, and I mean anything. When she sings covers, she can match Christina Aguilera note for note, sounds much sweeter, but no matter what song she does, you will never miss or compare her to the original artist who did the song because she has the ability to claim and dominate that song as her own.
