Like Mary, report them to the BBB ASAP. Tell the dealer what you plan to do. Your receipt should show what was done to the car.

Looks like your gonna coast right into marriage. no brakes for you. lol

Sorry you seem to be getting ripped off Nos..

If your wife is good at this kind of confrontation thing by all means take her with ya.

My husband is good at that as well,.. and he gets results and he expects fair treatment..not rip offs.

    sincerely

A brake job for $650?? My F in ass!!

3 Months ago I blew a rear bearing in my BMW. I jacked up the axles, had to have a new rotor installed, chewed a bunch of shit up, etc..etc... my bill was only $600. You got SCREWED. Get your money back and take it to a real mechanic. Do not go to Midas or any other of those half-ass places.

Sounds like the johnson rod was broken. And they charged too much for halagen fluid.

    Do not go to Midas

I figured that one quite quickly. That's the first place I went when I got my vehicle. They told me the brake pads were incredibly worn down, and I needed new ones. I knew it was bullshit, since the truck was saftied 4 months ago. I then took it to Speedy, and they fixed it right. Now they fix it wrong.

Way toooooooooo much, rear brakes cost about $200 with labour and $400 for the front including labour, MAX. , mind you car is an import, so possible.

try Petro-Canada, i've always had good luck with them.

The only thing here with the label "Petro-Canada" is gas stations. They'd probably look at me funny if I said I wanted them to fix my brakes.

I have heard that if you have paid by credit card you can contact them to tell them you will not allow the payment until the dispute is settled.

I understand that they will withhold payment to the car repair place until it is settled.

But you probably paid by check, right? Anyway, call the CC company right away if you did, and see if this is not so...

Actually Bebu, I paid with credit card.

I went after work, and they bled the brakes, it seems to be better now. Hopefully, no more problems
