I worked with someone who was autistic, none-verbal and bipolar tonight for the 1st time, because of having to work with it I had to research it and now I am thinking my brother has got it, undiagnosed though, he has a lot of the signs.
Anyway, I'm bttt this because its a great thread and may help many more

Yep, I'm bipolar.
the meds I've tried just don't work. I have no health insurance, so I medicate with Rolling Rock, Jaegermeister, and manual labor.

One reason I'm glad I live in Australia, healthcare is relatively free.
Hope you find something that helps and is affordable.
Have you tried Lexapro, It's what I'm on and works great for me.
Yar, tell me about it. I have bipolar, so i can't work a straight job, ergo no health insurance...
but when I can buy my meds, I can work a straight job, ergo health insurance.

I have a friend here with ADHD with the same problem, the only meds that work for him are not on the subsidy lists here so he can't afford to buy them when he's not working, but can not work without them.
I was just recently diagnosed.
