if you consider kicking a ball from one side of the field to the other with no actual scoring to be "action", then you definitely have plenty of uninterrupted "action" going on there. soccer is basically hockey minus any of the contact.

I had to laugh all the way home, when I heard that Mr. Double-Clutch (Bret Farve) didn't make the ESPN's top 25 athletes of the past 25 years. And here I thought ESPN was the Packers propaganda network.

The only thing that I find remotely interesting about football....errrrr....soccer is when the U.S. plays Mexico. With sooooooooo many immigrants from Mexico here, they make it a fun to rip, esp. now that the U.S. is better than anyother football....errrrrr...soccer team in North America.
I wonder, how much more you Euros will hate America when the U.S. finally wins a World Cup?

Just a suggestion, but I played on a FFL a couple of years ago and we did a combination of performance and scoring. It made for a much more entertaining, and competitive league.
