Back from the District Convention!

    Is there a way to put up audio clips for all to listen to? I have a few doozies.

    Man, I lost count of the times they were hammering on "the slave"... obey the slave blah blah and "have faith in the organization."

    "Keep repeating the lie, and it will eventually take on a life of its own"

    That quote kept going through my head as I listened to Kenneth A. Little, Co-ordinator for the Canadian Branch as he rambled on all that BULLCHIPS

    So many lies were told at this convention, I went numb from them.

    I have a few audio clips that would amuse.

    Yeah....they did go on and on ad nauseaum about having faith and displaying loyalty to the organization didn't they?

    Can't knock them for being consistent.

    I guess if they were Christian, they'd be obsessed with "having faith in Jesus"

    Instead, having faith in the organization is the priority!

    After having shared my feelings on the WTS w/ my parents this week, I'm wondering how they are now thinking after attending the convention this weekend. Hopefully they haven't been 're-indoctrinated'.....but I'm sure the 'be faithful to the organization' message had it's impact.

    You know, that is such a good point. Faith in God and Christ should be stressed, not to some organization......

    audio clips?

    having to endure a lifetime of "assemblies" as a child; I have that "audio feed back" sound forever indelibly etched into my memory.

    Whenever I go to a concert; ballgame etc, where I hear that audio sound ; I get a loathing feeling.

    It is not a pleasant memory.

    I would like to listen to the audio clips. I'll just have to be sure I havent just eaten, wouldnt want to throw up and then have to clean off my keyboard *barf*
