True - one does not need a good education to make thoughtful comments. But why does a comment have to be thoughtful? Sometimes lateral thinkers will come out with acomment or question and it may seem ridiculous - but IMHO that sometimes is what is needed. Also if things get heated - a little bit of humor or a shoot from the hip response is all that is needed to bring that person or the conversation back down to earth. I still get back to the Watchtower study - I would call those comments - many times well thought out , well resaerched - but they are scripted and molded by WTBTS indoctrination - IMHO if the odd shoot-from-the-hip response were allowed in the WT study it may make people think more - that is why I like lateral thinking and the occasional shoot from the hip response - it adds to the variety and it is the spice of life

let me restate one of my points: I thoroughly enjoy wit, humor, and interesting comments, even heated arguments. They contribute to the soul of a discussion, no doubt. I just dislike the lazy responses that shun honest, genuine thought (which, often, does not take any great amount of speculation to form).

I understand how you feel, Farkel would back you adamantly here, and that puts you in good company. But this disucussion board is not restricted to 'give us thoughtful comments or go away because you irritate me'. Many are here to support each other as they recover and intigrate into the real world again. Many would rather play than study. However, I can see that would be trying to those who take discussions very seriously. I hopy you understand and will be patient.

Well Vita it isn't that big of a deal. I went and looked at your posted topics and ya they were thought out well, but I also noticed for the most part you got reasonable responses from people.
