Up near Mt. Rainier for us camping, no phone, no television, no electricity or anything else we can't haul in in our trailer. A friend has some property near the park and we are going hiking, fishing, barbecuing, and otherwise relaxing. Really better, our dog is only 13 months old and fireworks drive him nuts (he is terrified).

I received a pleasant surprise last night when an old buddy of mine called. He's heading for Detroit for a family gathering & will be stopping here on the way.
Now, I've known this guy since we were in 5th grade, and we were college roomies .. he's now a Catholic priest. I plan on spending a couple of days swilling beer & swapping lies with him.
