It seems that the new fave singer of dubs everywhere is now Prince since he has embraced their way of not thinking, as the following will demonstrate...This was from a sister who went to a "Prince concert".....

    Hey all!!
I got to see Prince, last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was totally and
completely awesome!!!!!!!!!!! It was the best concert I have ever been to.
Everyone that I've talked to that went agrees. He was on stage for over 2
hours and did all of our favorite songs (except the nasty ones and the ones
with swearing!) He said he wouldn't be doing that stuff on "his stage." We
all sang, danced, yelled, (screamed!), hooped and hollared all the way thru
    the
show. He looks wonderful!!! Doesn't look 43 at all!!! Very cute!!! Very
small!!!! But that guy definitely has alot of talent. He played two
different guitars, a keyboard, piano and two different drums.

He preached a little bit. He inserted things in some of his songs. He sang
how before Revelation could be fulfilled that alot of work needed to be done.
He said how Jesus was his savior and how important it is for families to be
together and stay together. And during Purple Rain, he threw in "Open up
your bibles and read them!" Everytime he preached a little, I got all
    happy!!!!! :)

Wish you all could have been there!!!! Can you imagine how much fun we would
have had??? Another thing I appreciated was the diversity of the crowd,,,
black, white, hispanic, young, old (the oldest I heard of was an 81 year old
lady), rich, poor,,,,,and everyone was having a good time!!! He has a very
    peaceful affect on people.

Can ya all tell I had a great time????

I'd like to know why he's 'permitted' to have concerts and be in the lime light in the first place. Isn't that worldly behaviour.

And what are good little witnesses doing attending concerts.

    Hypocrisy at its best!

    Hi Nkl,

Now!…how you gonna keep’em (teeny-bopper Jehovah’s Witness) down on the farm?

If TAFKAPBIPA, can make a “billion” dollars, why can’t they likewise give it a go?

Perhaps Jehovah's Witnesses admitting they are becoming a "mainstream religion" by attaching themselves to public icons for validation, like Mormanism or Scientology does for example, is closer than we think.

Why do you put ALL JW's into one box?
    They are all individuals.
Their religion is not as strict as you imagine.

How else can he do his ministry?
Can't very well call on doors, can he?

Many singers preach their way of life at concerts.
    Why not Prince?
If he really believes, then he should do so.
    That's my mind anyway.

    Sue,

You said, How else can he do (his) ministry? When has the society turned the phrase the ministry of Christ to the ministry of Prince?

I wonder how he marks his time slip?

Before you know it, he will be having the WT and AFAKE magazines handed out at his concerts. Just think of the placements. He will set a society record.

I believe this is history repeating itself and it is all about money. Michael Jackson, rock star, when the rank and file were told that rock and roll was bad, becoming famous was bad, glorifying someone of fame was bad. Of course, Michael Jackson gave large sums of money to the Society, so he went way beyond the Wt's normal limits before they disfellowshipped him. It is the same thing all over again. We (the WT) will tolerate deviance, as long as the deviant sends us money.
