Hope you've got lots of money. My husband worked there a few years ago, for a few months, and said it was terribly expensive. The contractors that hired him paid all their expenses or he would have been in trouble.

Mrs Ozzie and I were really burned when we were novices to Japan but since then we've learned to go "off the beaten track" i.e. where the locals go, and it's not too bad. Still pricey on our exchange rate but not as bad as it was when we first went.
