My dad had a hula girl on his arm, courtesy of lots of beer and World War II. She actually held up well over the years . . .

I love mine, its on my lower back. I know its "trendy" and I got it a couple years ago...but looking at it still, I still love it. The colors are still very vivid to.
Someone mentioned above "post in a few years" but you know what? If you take care of your body and do not get it in saggy places (breasts, butt, etc.) and take really good care of the tattoo (I do) it will look great still. And inks have gotten better over the years and colors are remaining vivid. So before you get down on those with tattoos, think about what you are going to say.
I have many examples of body art. I love it. I will get more tattoos in pretty areas to excentuate (not hide or destroy) the body parts and areas. I love my piercings too.

totally agree with what you say about taking care of yourself. My mum's 50 and looks great. She still passes as my sister which is great. Has a fantastic body too.
