    Righto, folks!,

I've been asked a few times about how people will be fed.

    Orally, of course!

Hmm...must be sensible. Now, unlike at an assembly, food will be provided. So please don't bring anything to eat unless you have special nutritional requirements. If anyone is a veggie please let me knw and we'll make sure that we have some barbecuable veggie (yuk!) food.

On the menu we will have the usual chicken pieces, English sausages, good burgers, rib-eye steak plus BBQ'd duck. Christina is the salad and fruit expert, so she'll be doing the girly stuff.

Oh yeah, I'm happy to do fish as well, however this will have to wait until after we've cooked the other stuff to avoid cross flavouring. I know you can wrap it in foil, but it still makes steak taste bleah. Let me know if you require fish, please.

One more thing. Unlike an assembly, we will allow you to bring copious quantities of beer and wine. There is no truth in the rumour that the more wine you bring will mean more posts for you.

Almost forgot..unlike an assembly you are not required to wear badges. However anyone who is clever enough to wear a Pompey badge, an England badge or an "I Hate Manchester City" badge will be allowed to be the first to buy me a beer in the pub later.

BTW, the Landlady is amiable about remaining open later than usual for us, but please remember that she likes to be involved, so for God's sake talk to her or she may get pissy if she feels ignored.

Whoo hoo! Just over 2 weeks to go!

Will you be issuing those little brown cardboard tickets, like they had at assembles?

    Looking forward to it Mike.

I can't wait! If anyone can remember my and Qwerty's drunken walk around Cheddar Gorge the night before the bbq we'll be doing it again this year, so if anyone fancies a few beers and a bit of camping on the Friday, let me know.

However anyone who is clever enough to wear a Pompey badge, an England badge or an "I Hate Manchester City" badge...

What about a badge that says "I hate English Football"?

..and of course all food will be provided at the proper time, ie when you've had a few beers or 3.

So, everyone who comes to our virtual KH will enjoy a few beers with the elders (that's anyone over 35).

Sorry about the bold lettering, we all Pickup bad habits sometimes.

    Englishman.
