I use a cell all the time. Some states want to outlaw the use of these phones while driving....Got an opinion on that??

It's outlawed here, and it should be - if a person's conversation is that important, they should pull over.

Yes. It's so dangerous. The amout of times I've nearly been run off the road by some idiot talking on the phone.
In Australia is is illegal, comes with a pretty hefty fine and demerit points off your licence a well.
I also think that smoking while driving should be illegal to.

They should also outlaw the driver from speaking to anyone else in the car since that's distracting. Also, babies should be banned from being in cars since they can also be very distracting.

Absolutely! In my experience, drivers using cell phones are a lot more dangerous than drunks. Whenever I see someone driving extremely poorly, slowly, or just plain stupidly, and pass them, 90% of the time it's an asshole on a cellphone.
Studies prove that doing anything other than concentrating on driving reduces competence; cellphone use is among the worst offenders.

I'm with Roybatty on this one. Get rid of kids, radios, cds, and passengers that talk too.

I think they are against the law in Newfoundland, Canada. .. but still not illegal in any of the other provinces...
If they are banned in Canada I can see why. I find it interferes more with my driving than my cup of coffee...

I hate them and I hate the stupid people on them WHILE THEY SHOULD BE DRIVING!
The last couple of times someone has almost hit me--they were all on cell phones. Several times trying to find a parking spot....its one thing being on the high way and using one...but in high traffic areas/down town/parking lots...they should be outlawed. And so should old people driving.

They should ban women putting on makeup too, WHILE DRIVING! Now that one drives me crazy! Coffee drinkers should be banned to as swell as eating on the run!..... I think there's plenty of people (like me) that can speak on a phone and still drive properly. I don't want to jinx myself but I do a lot of driving in big cities and I've never had an accident.

No.
I don't do it, as I use a headset.
But I say No.
We don't need more laws.
Maybe better punishment if you get into an accident while talking on a Cell Phone.
