Thanks, Ozzie As a result of reading this post, I decided to revise my profile a bit.
For those who don't know me (thank your lucky stars LOL):
I was born and raised a JW, 40 damned years worth of it. A diehard believer from the getgo...self-sworn to go to Bethel from the time I was 8 years old--a true Marjoe Gortner.
Went to Bethel, left "before my time was up," went through the disappointment of 1975, df'd for apostasy, reinstated, df'd for apostasy again (20 years later), and never going back.
Now building, as best I can, a new post-JW life with Kate...that one unique woman I should have met long before my dreams.
The scars remain, but the hopes flourish.
