(BTW, the WTS quietly changed from Jehovah's witnesses (lower case w) to Jehovah's Witnesses in the early 70's without any explanation after years of being petty that the "w" should not be capitalized because JW is not the name of a religion.)

Then they realized the tax benefits of being legally recognized as a religion and dumped the idea that "Religion is a Snare and Racket".

True Blondie, and did you know that "Jehovah's witnesses"applied ONLY to thee anointed ones. The none anointed ones were given a slew of names. The conventions were advertised as "Jehovah;s witnesses and their companions". It wasn't until Knorr too ofice and later stated that the name "Jehovah's WItnesses" applied to all witnesses regardless of their hope.

When you google, typing in Watch Tower, Watchtower, WatchTower all produce different results.

It's good to play with keywords this way to gain such results.

    Happy trails!

I guess that is where the reference in the NWT from Isaia 43:10 to Matthew 24:45-47 comes from.
