Is there any way anyone could scan a copy of that "Beware the voice of strangers" article?
Yes, I want to read the complete article also.

( I generally avoid reading the WT and Awake but my wife took it upon herself to place some on my desk and in the washroom....sigh)
Beware of the voice of Strangers who taped and transcribed the "Beware of the Voice of Strangers" talk from the 2003 convention!
SPEAKING OF SHEEP AND GOATS, I HAVE A QUESTION.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE "LEAD" SHEEP. TO LEAD ANYTHING, ONE HAS TO BE IN FRONT AND THE SHEEP OR WHATEVER FOLLOW.
I HAVE SEEN LOTS OF SHEEP HERDED IN WYOMING AND IN IDAHO. THEY ARE ALWAYS HEARDED BY MEN AND DOGS ON FOOT (((BEHIND))) THE FLOCK AND ON THE SIDES. USUALLY WITH A FEW MEN ON HORSES.
I HAVE ASKED THE SHEPARDS AND THEY LAUGH AT THE THOUGHT OF LEADING SHEEP.
THE SHEEP ARE TOO DAMNED DUMB, IS THEIR REPLY.
Outoftheorg sorry for getting off subject.
They haven't changed one bit. Just keep scaring people who are already 'in line'. Pathetic.
Outoftheorg: Thank you for that point. I will be sure to bring it up many times with various Borgettes.
"Truly, displaying an accommodating and generous disoposition toward Christians having a weaker conscience-or voluntarily restricting our choices and not insisting upon our rights-demonstrates"the same mental attidude that Christ Jesus had."Romans 15:1-5"
Um, if this is the same Jesus who denounced the religious leaders of his time for their hypocrisy, ate with tax collectors and prostitutes, and corrected the disciples for their reaction to Mary Magdalene using the oils to annoint Jesus with instead of saving it to sell, than I'm happy to share the "same mental attitude Jesus had."
As far as stumbling those with a weaker conscience, one must wonder how many followers of Jesus left because of being "stumbled" by these events. I guess we will never know, since the Bible doesn't give the explicit reasons WHY they all left.
A question: Doesn't ``Beware of the Voice of Strangers" amount to nothing less than a negative restatement of ``Trust Nobody But Us?"
Hmmm.... I think the JW's are stranger than anything.
