I would like to make the transition while be fully conscious and alert, but in a peaceful natural setting, like old age. I don't wanna be asleep. If there's life after death I wanna be alert to experience moving from one state of consciousness to another. And if there is no life after death I want to be cognoscente of that fact at least.
I?d like to be about 85 or so tending a garden when God taps me on the shoulder and maybe say's something like, " Ok boy, you?ve done enough. Let?s go home now".

I want one of those long, dramatic death scenes. You know, where it takes a few minutes to go and I have time to experience the near-death visions, while slowly floating toward the light. Being held in the arms of a loved one, while talking about angels and beauty and peace. And of course, to top it all off, the loved one closes my eyelids in the end.
