It always struck me as appropriate that "Mature" entertainment was not for JWs.

I saw Schindler's List while a teenager. Then when I was about 17 or 18 I went with a couple of witness kids and my ministerial servant cousin to see Man on the Moon, the Jim Carrey movie about Andy Kaufman. I remember them being so scared and looking around so they wouldnt get caught.
On a side note, my friend brought his little 5 year old daughter over this weekend. We wanted to watch a movie, but it had to be one she could sit on the couch and watch with us. Then I realized that I dont have any movies in my collection that ARENT rated R. We had to send her in to another room to watch one of my nephew's movies.

The first film I saw that was a 15 or 18 (UK equivalent of R) was Hallowe'en 3: Season of the Witch (terrible film!) - I was about 7. Good old dad! :)

I think the first rated R movie I saw was "Action Jackson" when I was 15 on video. My friend had taped it from HBO at his uncles house and smuggled it back home like it was the friggin hope diamond. I still remember the joy of seeing Vanity's(she was princes' girlfriend) boobies in full motion. ahhh, to be young again.

I think I was like 14. Up until I meant my best friend and we started hanging out with here sister I realized that not all JW youths are the goody goodys you always read about in the WT. Many of the youths date within the con. in secret ahve 'formals" (which are really proms for JW youths) of course the WT found out about these and counseled against them.Anyway I thingk my first movie was like something like Nightmare on Elm Street or somethin.
